Candle Pouring Workshop
In this hour long candle class you'll create your own custom refillable candle by choosing your own concrete vessel, fragrance blend, and decorations. You'll start by learning about the types of wax we use, then we'll progress to the science of blending fragrances! Choose a ready-to-go blend, or make your own, it's all up to you. After pouring your custom candle you'll finish it off by adding a decorative wax top piece.
For this workshop you'll walk away with (1) 9oz refillable candle or (2) 3.5oz refillable candles. We have a variety of naturally colored vessels along with a collection of candle safe GHS+Reach compliant candle dyes, giving you plenty of options to make it exactly how you want it.
Our classes are held at our retail location in the heart of historic Old Colorado City, with beautiful views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountain landscape. Bring your own drinks and snacks and make it a party!
This workshop is held every Friday at 5PM. Please email us if your group size is larger than (6) or if you are interested in a private event. We can accommodate groups as large as (18).

Shipping Information
All orders ship from our studio in Colorado Springs, CO. We process & ship orders Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays when the UPS or USPS is closed. Orders placed after 3:00 pm MST will be processed on the next business day (Mon-Thurs) and then shipped. Read our full shipping policy.

We have a variety of hands-on workshops suitable for all ages. From basic candle pouring to in depth advanced shaped candle and candle painting classes, we have a unique blend of workshops that you won't find anywhere else.

How do workshops work?
At a 10k ft view we're going to cover candle safety, the science of blending fragrances, along with wax and wick selection. After you pour your candle the wax will take a couple of hours to set. If the workshop is during the day you can roam around Old Colorado City and get a bite to eat while you wait, otherwise you can come back the next day to pick it up. We can also ship your candle if you're visiting for a flat rate of $10.
When are workshops held?
We currently offer workshops on Fridays and Saturdays at 5PM. We have kids workshops available on Thur and Fri at 1 PM. If those times don't work for your schedule, and if you have a group of at more than six, then we can arrange for a private workshop. Just reach out! We're pretty flexible.
Do you have workshops for kids?
We offer kids workshops with a bit of a twist. For the young kiddos (at least 5) we'll make a low-fragrance wax melt in fun shapes. No flames to worry about, and the shapes are pretty large. They'll each go home with a fun project box with their candle creations. And you can actually use them, just pick up a $10 wax melter from Walmart.
How long are the workshops?
In most cases they run about an hour long depending on group size. Some of our workshops span a couple of days, and some of them are a little more advanced and can last up to 90 minutes.
Do you offer private or corporate events?
